Since on my 2008 550i M sport 48k miles, warranty expires, i'm gonna have to extend it and it will cost me $170 for 18 months on top of my car payment.
But........... i found a 2007 M5 with 50k miles certified for roughly $70 more a month what i'm paying now...

Pro 550i:
Clean as brand new, no scratches or dings, very solid and beautiful!!!

Pro M5:
Its a M5!!!

Any post will be appreciated!

^this...

the $100 you'd be saving/difference getting the M5 would also offset the cost of gas and ins for it

Once the extended warranty runs out you'll be paying up the butt for repairs that what keeps me away from an M5 It's up to you if money isnt a issue i would take the M5 anyday.

I can't believe you're asking this. If i could afford an M5, I would buy one in a heartbeat. I know, I know cost of gas and a CHANCE you'd pay a bunch in repairs. But really..M5!!!! If you're set financially and have no major expenses coming up (wedding, new house, new baby), I say go for it. You will NOT regret it.

$170/month for extended warranty seems steep. go for the certified M5
