Can you describe what part of glove box it is? Looks like some kind of tear/rip.

When looking into the glove-box it is on the left side just under the USB AUX plug. I is on the lid part that swings down. Wondering if anyone with a 2010 E60 can check it out and tell me whats missing from this space.

Might have found the answer! But It looks forced into place... could this be for something other than the flashlight?

Default

It's for the plastic key fob that you put the small slide in key for the ignition. I have the fob but not the wallet key so mine just sits there.
