My Ride: 06 530i Premium and Cold Weather Package
Orient Blue, Tan Interior
Hi, I am calling about my 1988 X5 converible....
(Page flipping, page flipping) oh hello sir, thank you for calling about your X5 convertible, how may I assist you today.
Yes I am having an issue with my vehicle actally existing. My IDrive screen keeps sayinf "are any of us really here..?". Could you help me please?
Lol I used to work in one of the call centers, there are a lot of good educated people working on the phones, it is pretty impressive compared to most call center level employee. But doing desk side IT, even when I was younger, some of these people would astonish me with what I was overhearing
I need to try my SOS button before my warranty is kaput! Thanks!

So who here has NOT known things about their cars that their SA had NO CLUE about??? I find quite regularly that I know MANY things that the mechanics, SA's, salesmen etc at BMW know NOTHING about, and on THEIR own cars!
I politely turned down his offer and explained that the 550i Sport hasn't had RFTs in several years. He thanked me for the info and explained that, at the dealership, 550i Sport purchases/leases are very rare.
A few days ago my salesperson at the dealer told me that I was their only 2009 550i Sport buyer and that they had only sold 2 2010 550i Sports and 0 M5s.
Interestingly, she claimed that M5s only sell at sticker. What total and complete BS (maybe that's why they don't sel any M5s).
When my lease is up in 2012 (assuming no one assumes my lease before then as I would love to upgrade to M5), my first call will be to member jeffnnj who recently joined World Wide Cars in Spring Valley, NY as a client advisor. One thing is for sure: he knows our cars inside and out. I hope that our members will give him a shot on new and used BMWs.

AGREED. I was told by a salesman (or client advisor psh) that the bluetooth in my car didn't work or show up in any menus because after 4 years or 50k miles when BMW Assist runs out bluetooth deactivates itself and I needed to reactivate bmw assist for $199 to get bluetooth access. He also let me know that it would be a great idea to keep the backseat clean because "boy you're going to get f*cked so much in this car" He was right about one thing and it had nothing to do with bluetooth
haha, I like that.
