I always wondered what would happen if you were to put your hand in the window as it automatically rolls up. Did anyone try that, I'm too afraid its one of three options below.
Is it:
1. The window keeps trying to go all the way up pushing against your hand damaging either hand/motor?
2. The window stops/rolls down when it detects an obstruction?
3. The window cuts your hand in two and then :

It happened to my wife, she tried closing the door while the window was rolling up it caught her finger the window came back down but she was in extreme pain and started crying. I thought it broke her finger as I heard a snap right before the window went down. I suggest trying it with your fist clenched and sideways and not just with your fingers.

you don't have to actually use your arm, or any live object/limb to test out this safety feature, a rolled up towel or piece of foam should work just fine....just sayin...

I hope you were joking...it would be funny if someone actually test it with this method.

You dont have to let the window close on any object, just press the pressure sensitive strip at the top of the window frame and the window will reverse.
