My Ride: 2004 March E60 530i, Titanium Silver with Black Dakota Leather, Style 124 18" Alloy, Active Steering, Adaptive headlights, Auto-Dim Int+Folding Ext Mirrors, Auto Aircon Advanced, Brushed Aluminium Trim, CD Changer, Comfort Seats, De-Chrome, Dynamic Drive, Electric Glass Sun Roof, Graduate Tinted Windscreen, Heated Front Seats, Natvigation Professional, Sport Steering wheel, Sun Protection Glass, TV function
I drvie a 530i and normally use 95 RON normal unleaded pertrol as the fuel price has gone up the roof. GBP60 a tank. :'( According to BMW owner's handbook, it is recommended to use Premium plus (RON 98) unleaded. So I've tried the Premium Plus for the last few weeks (leave the tank nearly empty and then refuel so I'm not mixing with the lower grade), I'm running on the 2nd tank now but still didn't feel any different in terms of power or fuel consumption.
Is it me or is my engine not big enough to make the difference?
