The most important thing is that you (and your baby) were whisked out of harm's way!

Thank God you're safe. That drunk driver must deserve heavy penalty under the law.
Thank you guys for the advice and support, I am sure the car will be fine. BTW, the drunk driver start to hit both medics when they try to help him, the cops had to handcuff him. I am sure that with VA law of zero tolerance he will get jail time.

I'll post pictures and my driving report during the weekend. To busy at the office to do it during the week.

Best

No damages : my 545i was @rev limiter after 1 hour it went out from the dealer

When I turned 18 my parents got me new 1985 Alfa Romeo GTV6. I picked up the car at the dealership and from that moment until I passed it to my brother 5 years later it never got to far from the red line. BTW, the car is still running strong ? my brother?s teenager is enjoying this oldie now and he thinks his the coolest because of the car.

I get believe it was 23 years ago

What are the consequences of driving my car, which has only 102 miles to the red line until the rev limiter kicks in on both first and second gears?
Glad you and the car are OK. Engine break in is always a fun topic on my Motorcycle boards, some think doing what you did actually produces a much stronger engine. This may help put your mind at ease : http://www.yamahafz1oa.com/forum/showthrea...;threadid=16437

Thanks for the info. As an active rider I am familiar with the discussion on two wheels side, but not as much on the 4 wheels. From all the responds I get that its not a big deal.

Cheers
