If it's a diesel then I would assume a 530d simply due to the price difference and not everyone wants a 535d (all that power and potentially more cost on maintenance)
the 525d and 520d I don't seem to see many of on the road or even as 2nd hand buys - so thats my observation.

apart from that, auto transmission and auto aircon as standard the 535d and 530d are very similar. The 535d is not bought by company car drivers as the tax would kill em!
