What Does TI or T1 Stand for at the Bottom of the I-Drive Screen?

In Chicago the traffic information has been extremely accurate in terms of identifying locations of current congestion and identifying alternative routes. The only problem is that some alternative routes have poorly maintained streets which are hard on alloy wheels. Plus some of the neighborhoods are rough.
