I think it is a pretty fair price for all the options it comes with, I paid 36g for my 06' 525XI a month ago. There isnt too much demand for these cars up here so they go for more then the US.

I think there is a cold weather package in canada. I have heated seats and steering wheel without the premium package.

Your car with almost max options at 41,000 miles is $27,425 MSRP. Everyone knows MSRP is adjustable by at least 3,000 to 4,000 lower so you should have paid about 23k for your car, sir.

You were ripped off by almost $13,000 !!!!

I'd walk back into your dealership with an axe.

I'm in Canada not the States. If you do a country wide search for this car I paid a fair price considering the kilometers and condition. It only had 25476 miles or 41000km when I bought it.

Dude you probably live about 1,000 miles from me. How is it that your car is magically worth $13,000 more from here to there. Hell I bet if I got a spotlight and shined it out of my window we could do morse code we're that close.

I'd get my money back. I'm so mad about this and it isn't even my car! I'm mad FOR YOU that some jag off dealer had the balls to sell you that car for that price!!!!!!!!!! FUCK man you can get a used M5 for 36k!!!!!!!!!!!!

Even if I changed known zip codes to Fargo, ND or Maine or any other city closest to the Canadian border the price doesn't vary at all.

although 36K does seem like a lot, in Canada, we generally get ripped off on everything from toilet paper to cars...we're a smaller market, and once things cross into our border, we generally get ripped off, thats why i bought the wife's M3 in florida....anyway, back to this car.....
what should i offer?

Dude, he's in Winnipeg, not Toronto. The market is really different in Winnipeg and Canadian cars tend to sell for a little more than the US.
That's why, last year when our dollar was similar to the US$, Canadians were picking up US BMWs by the 1000's. Only problem was the BMW Canada complained to BMW worldwide and they introduced a new stipulation that all imported BMWs had to be inspected and registered via BMW Canada and the service fee was rather significant. Well, that was around the same time that our dollar started to slip back so the US imports slowed down drastically. I've got a good friend who was importing BMWs from the US last year and while selling them for the same Canadian market price, he was making between $5-$10,000 per transaction in profit!

The 27G msrp when converted to Canadian comes out to be $35000, the difference isn't worth the extra effort to try and source from the US. Plus they gave me a really fair trade in value for my 2005 Jetta (17g). It was the right car at the right time for me. Sure I could have tried to get a beoker to find one for me but then I still wouldnt have known what im getting till it got here. Plus the cost to ship it and get it safetied for use in Canada, it just wasn't worth it for me.

The prices here have actually gone up since I got my car. 37g gets you a 2006 330i now.

This was a local one owner car in mint condition, I couldnt say no
