Euro LCI tail lights come with amber LED's for the turn signals... the NA version comes with red LED's... what do you think looks better?

Does anyone with one wish they had the other? If so, why?

I have the NA LCI red LEDs. Although they look uniform to the rest of the car and red lights, I think it would be nice to have the amber, like the old e39. Clear when off, amber while flashing. Red blends in too much I think. Especially if you have the DRLs on in the rear.

Anyone know if a bulb swap is available? I wouldn't think it would be that hard. Same wiring, just different bulb.

I sprung for th EU tails because I thought they matched better. I'm not sure why they made the rear lights red in US, but amber is my choice. Also, no one to date has attempted to change the red LEDs to Orange/Amber LEDs because it requires you to seperate the seal around the light housing. Plus changing all of those individual LED lights would be pretty tasking I think.

I like my red ones, but I can do amber as well. To me, they both look very nice.

In EU there is a law that says that the turn signals have to be yellow/amber but not red.

Red is for rear lights (running, brake and fog) only.

I have an LCI and one of my biggest complaints is that the rear turn signal is red. The front blinkers are amber so in my opinion the rears should also be amber. Also, I don't like red turn signals in the back because it looks like a brake light. When you signal to change lanes, someone at a quick glance might think that you're braking.

Good input... I think cost will be the deciding factor... red are $540, amber are $675. Not worth the extra in my opinion.

I would like clear lens that blinks amber. with the amount of idiots out here amber will make it more clear for other drivers to not mistaken it for a brake light when it first goes off.
