Straight line dashboard, poor choice of interior trim, endless sea of cheap plastics 
It a shame of BMW and the car of this price segment.
Otherwise I cant look at and even think of any other car.

These are the things I hate, I am getting a new car in 1 year and will try to correct some:
-Sport seats: Horrible, I will get comfort on my next one
-run flats (not the concept or the ride , the noisy dunlops) hope they will have a better brand
-Door rattles (I swear, I hear them even without the car moving)
-Active steering : Thankfully it becomes an option on MY 2006

My Ride: '05 530i, Premium, Steptronic, Logic7, Silver grey-black leather. Build date 12/7/04.
My primary complaint(there are a few others) is the near total absence of cabin storage space. I really thought Audi had a good idea with the under seat pull-out drawers.

My Ride: 530i 6 speed
Pretty much all the above (except I LOVE my grey interior) plus:
- outdated NAV-DVD, but no update available
- dealer cannot fix seat noise/movement
- rubber trim is falling off in two places
- creaks and rattles in dashboard in cold weather
- cold start problem nobody can solve
But, just now, simply driving to work, it put a smile on my face!!!

Oddment storage space-worse than my old E46 3 series
Electonic gremlins-idrive has "crashed" twice, now have the side window anti-trap problem...
idrive-it's good but could so easily be better,maybe the latest updates with hot keys will be better
Run Flat's-need I say more...BMW insist they are fine but the M5 doesn't have them and neither does the 7 series because ride is crucial in that class.
