What to do with original bumper cover.
Simple question, those of you that have changed to an M-Aero, or M5 bumper cover, what did you do with your original bumper/grill ? Craigslist? Sell it on the forum here? I cant imagine keeping it around, and I don't see that its going to be worth the price of shipping.. Ideas ?

Mine was cracked from an accident, so the auto body trashed it.
There is a market for everything. I'd post it on your local Craigslist and post it here. Ya never know...

I posted my front and rear bumpers, and rocker covers on several BMW forums. I ended up getting less than $100 for the front, less than $100 for the rear, and I ended up scrapping the rocker covers due to lack of interest. My bumpers were minty. It took me about two months of waiting/bumping threads to finally unload them. I also ended up meeting both buyers halfway to make the sale work (both buyers were in FL and I drove less than 1 hour each time). I posted many detailed pictures with my ads just so everyone knew what they were getting.
Like Jay says, there's a market for everything. You may just have to be patient.

As of today, the bumpers are still on the car but that's changing in about a month, once I get the last of the parts delivered. I decided to do an OEM swap, so I've had to piecemeal all the little odds and ends. My car is a 2009 528i in Titanium silver. I'm located in the Seattle (Eastside) area
