One annoyance for me is the button on the middle of the dashboard to unlock the rear doors. (same on mrs. sixcard's E90) I am getting used to it but it would be so much better to have a way to unlock the rear doors form the drivers door.

If I'm not mistaken, when the doors are locked...you can pull the driver's door handle (try to open the driver's door) and this will unlock all the doors. If you pull the handle again, you will actually open the driver's door.

1) Can't stand the cup holders - they are just in a real bad spot
2) The center console as configured is useless - You can barely get a pack of gum in there
3) No place to store CD's
4) Trunk lid switch is in a tough spot - I like the 08's which have a switch on the dash as well
All that aside, I love my car

my biggest gripes are:
1. I need a little more power.
2. The stock front bumper of an '06
3. Ride height - I would love it if the Xi had a lower stance.
That being said, I absolutely LOVE this car. I find myself leaving stuff in it, so that I can run back out to get it after I get home, smoke a stogey and marvel at the way it looks. Yes, I stare at my own car - all the time

Center storage console isn't well designed; no storage space for anything.
Trunk requires a lot of effort to close.
No matter how I try, steering wheel still blocks the speedo/tach view partially.

My biggest moan is the rear view mirror, the way it dims at night time with head lights behind you, I couldn't see the nice police man until he pulled me over doing 121mph and now I won't be able to drive my lovely car for 6 months
Also the remote key fobs are rubbish, you need to be next to the car before it works and it lets water in when you open the doors and it staines the seats.

Using iDrive for Navigation. Easier to use a portable navigation unit.
Oil sensor - mine periodically acts up and indicates the car needs oil when it is completely full on a engine restart 5 min later.

2 weeks in to my '06 550, and 2 main things:
1. No where to put stuff in the foreward cabin.
2. First gear acceleration is sluggish.
My wife's CLS 550 is no where near the sports sedan this is, but first gear torque is better without having to stomp on the pedal.
