Remote function on old key stopped working, replaced battery, nothing...ordered new key, had it cut, I try to program either key using the 3 methods, doesn't work. Called dealer, they said could be a problem with some sort of alarm sensor or some antenna.

Anyone know what it's called and where to find it in either Progman, DIS, or Inpa? Maybe I can play around with it and reset it. Thanx.

From whom did you order the new key? Dealer?

nope, some store off of e-bay who claims that it can be programmed and if I take it to the dealer, they'll also program the immobilizer chip.

did I fall for a scam? I'm thinking if it was, he'd have tons of negative comments.
