Nope, any mirrors will do. If you don't have motors in the mirrors, all you do is push against the mirror with the key fob - you'll need to do it one at a time though.

You should show the remote start retrofit as well. Comes in real handy.

Anyone know where i can get a good set of folding mirrors with puddle lights for my e60 production 10/2006 pre-lci?

Gary Romani is from BMW of Newport in Rhode Island. (gromani@bmwofnewport.com). He has helped members here (including myself) and gave pretty good discounts. Shoot him an email that includes your VIN and tell him that you're a member of 5series.net.

BTW, you might as well get folding mirrors with puddle lights from an M5. Otherwise, you can just order the motors and retrofit them yourself.

Didn't think you could order the folding motors on their own.

that seems like a lot of work to do, unless its that easy, M5 mirrors seem easier

You can pick up OEM from Gary if you want new, or ebay. You can also get reps from member NVD. He has an ad in the vendor classifieds section. However, that version does not include puddle lamps.

so folding mirrors no puddle lights? how about the other features the m5 mirrors have?
