just curious what kind of cool things you can do with coding? Things I saw so far that I want to do was the folding mirrors, code the front turn signals so i don't have to use resistors. What else can I do?

quite a lot of things! One thing you'll really like is being able to close/open all 4 windows and the sunroof just by holding down the unlock/lock button's on the remote. another is that you can turn off the annoying disclaimer you get on the iDrive every time you start the car...

holy shysters! that looks complicated! looks like the bulk of the coding feature is the auto windows/sunroof and the auto folding of the side mirrors. i assume you must have motorized side mirros to code them for auto open/close?

Nope, any mirrors will do. If you don't have motors in the mirrors, all you do is push against the mirror with the key fob - you'll need to do it one at a time though.
