Hey everyone.

Im turning in my lease on the 15th of next month and am looking at my options. I currently have a 2007 530i premium sport.

I would normally stick with the 535 but I know the new model is just around the corner so Im not sure what to do. I went to Audi and the new A6 is better looking than before but still nothing special. Their new version of that car is maybe 1 year after the f10. I finally took a look at the range rover sport and although it is very nice looking I cant get away from all the bad comments about reliability issues.

What do you guys think? Anyone in the same situation find a car that suits them.

My preferences are in this order:

4 doors
Aesthetics: Sporty, modern, young
Power
Price

Help me decide!

Thanks

lease a 535i, perhaps a 36 mo lease....that would take you into the second/third year production of the F10...hopefully by then the "bugs" will be worked out

Thats true. But I am biased too. I just hate driving a car that is outdated. So thought I might try another brand before coming back for the f10. Any other opinions?

I agree with Gene because yes it would be nice to have a F10 right when they come out but I wouldn't want to be the one to find all. Bugs in it for them to fix. So lease a 535 then switch to f10 in the second or third production year. Since you are considering range rover how about leasing a x6 for a few years? I don't mind the a6's but agree that they are nothing special unless you like the awd, and as for range rover I love them but would never buy one due to all the issues they have in terms of reliability.

See if you can extend your lease for a year which should get you into the new BMWs. If you can't wait the Jaguar XF SuperCharged is a very nice car. Doesn't handle like a BMW but not that far behind and is head turner. Its a combo of the Bentley continental and maserati in looks.

The Jaguar XF is worth considering. It meets all those preferences. I haven't driven one.
