I don't know exactly what year your car is, but I based my research on a 2005 BMW 530i and a 2007 Pontiac G6 GT..
BMW 530i: 0-60mph = 6.74s
1/4 mile = 15.210s @ 92.410 mph
Pontiac G6 GT: 0-60mph = 6.29s
1.4 mile = 16.530s @ 89.750 mph
0-60 the G6 might have you by a bit but 1/4 mile and so on you'd eat it alive. As the others said, 98% of the worlds population would definately choose the 530i over the G6 GT so no worries. Your car is more then fast enough.

remember guys, speed is a great asset to have, but we're rolling in our luxury sedans
yes my friends 335 may school my car, but i can confidently say girls dig my ride more
but enough comparing brothers, the bmw badge alone makes this car great
my kill list so far is: 04 mustang, an impreza, older model e300, is250, acura tl 3.2, countless civics
, alot of accords
of course ive lost a fair amount but still im happy with my car
