When I start up my car its fine. When I go to accelerate towards the top end of the rpm gage, the dtc light comes on, usually between 2nd and 3rd. While this is on the rpms keep going up, but there is no increase in power, and it dosent shift for a good second. After it shifts, it regains power and dtc light goes off. Once given a good half hour of driving to warm up, it gives a 2AA4 inlet camshaft, position monitoring code, along with a engine malfuntion/3100 code. If I stop and turn it off and back on, it continues giving me the code in decreasing intervals until it is nearly instantaneous. I also will get a 2A87 exaust VANOS mechanism code within a minute of the 2AA4 code. I am running a stage 2 MHD tune with catless downpipes. Any ideas? Could it be like a valve cover gasket or could it be the VANOS?
