I had a 2002 GMC truck for 10 years. The owners manual recommended maintenance included rubbing down the weatherstripping with a lube product recommended by GMC. It helped keep the weatherstripping flexible and last longer.
Is there such a product for BMW? I dont see it in the manual. A google search brings up a few options but wanted to see what 5series had to say first. Thanks

I just updated my supply @ Amazon ... it goes a long way! Amazon.com: Buying Choices: einszett 914806 'Gummi Pflege Stift' Rubber Care Stick - 3.4 fl. oz

Thanks guys. Can you apply this stuff to the rubber seals around the rear window.. or just keep it limited to the door, sunroof and trunk weatherstripping?
It will treat and protect any rubber/natural-synthetic seal around doors, windows, etc. However, it is NOT intended for treating seals like o-rings and gaskets like those used in the oil filter canister etc.
