If you feel adventurous ... what I did I took out the wire socket out from a busted PC fan that has 3 wires and re-use the whole length of wires ... just carefully expand the contacts so it'll bite on the pin the size fit perfectly even the little tab hold the wires in the plastic housing snugly.
After that I just extend the wires out of pin #8 & #10 to a switch but left the #9 for now since I'm not using it just yet.

Well, yes it'll be 3 ... but the button has no wire instead it has 3 pin so you have to get the wires, contact pin sockets and socket housing to plug into the back of the button part.

Well i'll be damned, it actually worked!! Well, i got the Sport light at least, now to reassemble and take it for a spin. You have to pop the latching cover off the back of the plug, then you can push the clips through from the back, and the pc wire connectors snap right in with a little bending out of the prong

That's just crazy. I know everyone will think i'm exaggerating when I say this, but it drives like a completely different car. Throttle remap is immediately evident. I had turned my Sprint Booster off, but had to double-check, it was that responsive + some. Transmission stayed in gear longer, similar to sport shifting mode, however, the shifts were much quicker and distinctive. Steering was also as described with more turn with less input on the quick little roundabout i like to take. In regular drive it doesnt shift to 6th but you can do it manually in sport shifting mode, then when you flick it back to the right it upshifts to 5th gear, that part was odd. Gas mileage will be terrible in that mode, but ill only be using it MOST OF THE TIME!!!
I highly recommend giving it a try if you're so inclined and thanks to the OP dbond!!!
and thanks to BlaSTiWi also, that computer fan wiring is actually perfect for this use.

it's funny, i was trying to tuck it just under the bottom of that panel, left of the ashtray on the corner, and I broke the switch!! Whoever said buy multiple switches earlier was correct. But it was only $3 and i'll swing back by Radio Shack tomorrow. For my test drive i just took the wires off the crumbling switch and touched them together quickly to activate SPORT mode.
They had 2 or 3 different types of momentary push button switches. I think i'll try the tiny one next. The light isn't really necessary. I'll post a pic tomorrow when I attach a new one.
