(61130005198 is the male version that I've used a few times around the car for things like an aux able..)

lol, you do realize #1 alone has 7 part numbers (sizes), right?

I'm almost sure it's 61130005197

Can I do this to a 2008 528i? I don't know how to tell if its LCI or Pre LCI. It has the shifter that stays in the same spot, except in DS. It has the park button on the top as well.

2008-2010 5 Series are LCI. I think 2007 European cars are LCI as well.

So whats the verdict guys?
I have an automatic 545i with active steering and dynamic handling. Should I do this?
Will have to order the bracket and sports button, if I were to do this right.

A lot of you are seeing benefits and some aren't. As long as there is some improvement with regards to throttle response and overall handling, it'll be worth it.

thanks,

ill try to see which part number are the connectors, i know i couldn't find them anywhere locally (mom pop electronic stores and big name ones), i had to get my neighbor to order them for me since he deals with electronic stuff for his business.

far as results, i did notice a difference, as you can tell from the video. i mean its worth a shot to try it out before you spend the money on the bezel and new button to see if it works for your car. i haven't had a chance to test on any other models.

im glad you guys enjoyed the video, i used a gopro hero3 strapped to my head to film, and it came out well i think. ill try to film as much DIY as i can, i plan to make a Orion install + black out + whatever else people do to these headlights, also a LCI tail retrofit. (im just trying to find a junked headlight to test on, so any donations for a broken gutted headlight appreciated!!)
