Hi Guys.
I need help, The water in footwell is a situation is just like mine, except it is the passenger side, Rear footwell under the "shotgun" seat. (Left hand drive US car).
The carpet is soaked, this happened yesterday, Tuesday, before I was leaving I saw it, so I used a wetvac, sucked it up and done, today, I go back, It didnt rain today btw, only Sunday and Monday (noreaster). And its soaked again.
I took apart the back seat (lower half), and pulled some of the carpet, all the foam on the footwell on that side is soaked.
There's a little hook on the rear seat, (near the door passenger side) its a little rusted, so I assume it has happened before.
Anyway, I cant figure out where its coming from, cause the doors are dry and the leather seats are dry.
Is it possible through the sun roof? or through my trunk?
Is the CPO extended warranty able to cover this problem?
Hopefully, my friend (BMW service guy) is bringing it in friday to check it out.
Has anyone experienced this problem too?
Last questions, how can i fix this?!?!
MK
