water dripping from sunroof when opened

so there are 2 seals at real oem for the sunroof which confuses me a bit.

That diagram looks confusing. What you need is the strip around the roof cutout not around the glass.

i ordered the seal.
one last question. the sunroof glass also has some sort of hard rubber, will that need to be replaced eventually also? or is that permanent as part of the glass itself?

The weather seal is what you ordered. Which seats against the glass seal. You ordered the part needed. If you have any questions about parts realoem is the site to go to. I think the seal on the glass is permanent but don't quote me on it.

The part on the glass stays as is.
After you replace the seal, you need to re-initialize the opening and closing process so that it relearns the proper closing force.
Hold the open button continuously until the sunroof opens completely. Then I think you keep holding it then the sunroof closes completely - something like that.
