That's just down to negotiation (or maybe spend level).

I got ?70 fuel (full tank anyway), mats, bluetooth cradle and chrished plate transfer fee thrown in.

Mind you I made it a deal-maker.

when i bought the other cars, they were included, there was not a thought of negotiation!

when you are buying a 27k car, and managed to get ?3k off, I has to leave him with something!

cheers

So it was your own "generosity" then that allowed them to "add" the costs to which you refer.

Hmm... I received ?4k discount (off ?37k RRP (inc tax) before extras) and there was no hesitation when I asked for those items to make thedeal.

"Leaving them with something"? Never fear. They ALWAYS end up with "something". Dealers are not charities after all.

Ouch, where are you to only get a 2 yr warranty?
I live in Norway and the BMW dealers in this country provide only two year warranty on new cars. I heard that some dealers in Europe provide an extra year of warranty, because the one from the factory is crap.

Don't know how "crap" it is but the warranty from BMW(UK) is 3 years, unlimited mileage. Dealer gets authorisation for work and claims standard fees for work.
