Do all 545's come with the folding mirrors or is this some option I'm not aware of ... I really like the idea of having it when I place my order ...

I hate to start the rumor mill, but I heard that v14 will be coming to the US within the next two weeks.

Iceman:

I've got v12 and had been thinking about upgrading to v13 because of the firming of active steering at slower speeds. Have you noticed the same firming in v14?

I've delayed taking my 530 in for the emission recall so I could get a better update. I'll probably schedule in the next couple of weeks.

Do tell, this is the first I've heard of folding mirrors, something I'd really like to have. Is this a Euro only thing or something enabled by software? No documentation I've seen says anything about folding mirrors.

It is a Euro thing. I guess since the US motto is wider is better that BMW NA decided to take away this option from us. It suxs becuase if I do not pull into my garage just perfect I have to lower my window and pull the drivers side in. I have about 3cm's clearance on each side of my mirror when I pull in or out.

Also I'm assuming a non-Canadian thing ... remember Canada, the largest country in the world just north of ya (in land mass)
