Default want a nice little drop on a budget help please pic inside!

hey guys i have a 528i and i want to get about 1.5 inch drop all the way around thats it, i dont track the car so coils are pointless and def for me personally not worth the money i dont want to ride around super low any ways. I just want alittle more of a drop any suggestions like some good springs and shruts that are good price. I was thinking h&r sport springs

heres a pic of how my car sits now.

I just installed the bilstein B12 kit. It has the Eibach springs, so they are a little softer than the H&R's.

they also have a kit with H&R for a little more

I like the Eibach ride, still smooth like a bmw should be, but still will handle a corner well.

seeing you have a non-sport, H&R sports would roughly drop you 1.4" front and 1.3" rear. eibachs would do a 1.2" all around. between the 2, H&Rs typically ride more aggressively.

I stated in another thread that I didn't like people faking out the 5s (especially the base model) but I guess people like that are called "haters" these days. I just find it too poser-ish. If you want an M5, buy an M5. If you can't afford it, buy something you can without sacrificing the M5 name. Can you imagine how many people drive by it and get disappointed by the "M5" sound?

I guess I should just shut up and pick up one of these kit Ferraris

That's what makes this world the crazy place it is. It's his money, his car. I like my mods, some people don't. Personally I don't care what others think. Bottom line, is if he likes his car, that is all that matters. If he needs help form the members here, we should assist where we can and not bash his taste.

To the OP, what suspension kit did you decide?

Agreed. Also, if you post a pic in the "parts/mods" section and someone is not a fan of replicating a certain model, it's something that should be expected and not considered "hating." It's a matter of opinion, which is why it makes this a forum - not "everyone love my car or don't say anything."

OP, I would probably change the struts/shocks at the same time. How many miles do you have on the car? If you go with just more aggressive springs, chances are you will see more wear and tear on the shocks and you will have to replace them anyway, which means paying for the same labor twice.

Is that stock height? I thought xDrives and non-xDrives are the same height...

hey guys, aboutt the hate crime thats always happening no matter where i go i really dont care im only 20 years old when i get mopped up ill roll down my window and theyll see im 25 years younger then them and they will feel mopped up lol life is good weither ppl like my car or not.
And an m5 price compared to this is not even half so idk why ppl act is if thats an option plus maitenence and all, plus if i wanted speed i woudnt go m series i would just buy a 135i and mod it up and rape any m series you give me.

with the 355is and 135is out buying an m series if you want speed is retarded, and im getting bc oils brand new for $900 my friends dad has a connection with them and he is installing the coils for me for $250 and has a fender roller which he is doing all 4 for $200

I like bc coils becasue the spring rate doesnt change when you lower or raise the car at all therefore not suffering from that shitty bouncy feely when your low, he has an e46 m3 with 20k miles on with over 7k n mods and he said he would never put anything but bcs on his car so im going to get coils for basically $1300 including fender rolling and this will happen next week so i will post up pics
