I wondered the same thing. I can't remember if people with 6 cylinder cars complained about that or not....

mine had the stiff pedal at startup for about 6 months before it got worse. I replaced the vacuum line (with the check valve) and it didn't fix the problem. It was getting so bad, that if I had the brake pressed when I turned the car off, the pedal would push my foot up. Contrary to what the recall says, some stops got a little hairy. I can leg press a lot of weight, if it had been a woman driving my car she would have gotten in an accident.

Once in a whle I get a stiff pedal on start up but never had any loss of braking power, how would they go abt sendin out letters? I am not the original owner but I have ben to the dealership before how does that work?

If that stiff pedal lasts for four hours or more, you should consult with your doctor.

This they recall, but not the HPFP problems on the TT's! Just what I wanted to do...spend a day at the dealership! Better than a week in the hospital or a lifetime in the ground, though. :thumbsdown:
