Volk may be more popular with Asian cars but they are supposed to be good strong light weight wheels... unlike some of the heavy blingy wheels I sometimes see on E60's

I almost went with the volk racing wheels. They are fully forged and only weight 17 pounds.

Volk wheels are good track wheels, strong and light. But how many people track their 5-series on a regular basis.
Reducing unsprung weight is one of the best modifications you can do on a car. Improves acceleration and braking, enables the suspension to work more effectively etc. This makes the car better to drive every day, not just on the track.

Of course if all you want to do is cruise around and look cool... go with 20-22"s with a big lip and a lot of chrome. But then what is the point of having a BMW?
