Found some nice wheels while browsing the net, and was wondering why I've never seen them on this forum.

That's exactly what I was thinking!
Seriously, I see Volk's on TONS of Acuras on the acurazine forum. That is a popular brand with the asian import guys. Personally I don't like either for our cars...

Right on, I'm not crazy about the first set but the second is almost identical to the csl/breyton race gts and bbs rs-gt's which seem to be pretty popular with our crowd. Thats why im surprised I havn't seen them on here yet.. but its true volk does seem to be more popular with the asian import crowd. Still, personally I love the SF-Winning wheels. In gun metal they would be bellissima imo lol

For the most part, these wheels are made for all the Fast and Furious makes..but suprisingly they do have a custom 3-piece offset just for e60's (but ridiculously expensive)! A nice feature is the lips are anodized which keeps them cleaner longer since brake dust won't stick to it. I got them just to be different.

Very few JDM style wheels work on BMW's, especially Volk/RAYS designs. I don't think they had Euro's in mind in the design process and they just doesn't look right.
Now Work, Agio and J-Line... those are a few JDM wheel companies in mind that look proper on BMW's.

Wow...that's a lot of $$$ to spend on wheels since you it say you are in NYC. Very brave! Look out for the potholes!
