My Ride: '05 530D Sport Auto plus bits.
My UK 2005 530D Sport with Pro Nav was due to go in for the voice retrofit last week but I received a call on Tuesday from the dealer saying that BMW had released a tech note putting the voice activation kit on hold until further notice. The couldn't give me an ETA but I will keep you posted.

My Ride: MY 2004 545i Touring, High Executive Line, Comfort Line II, Vision Line II (Dutch specced Packages), Color: Oxford Green. Interior: Black/Black leather. Trim: Dark Popular wood. Gear: Steptronic 6-speed
Other options not incuded in above packages: M-Sport aero kit, sports suspension, heated steering wheel, rear side-airbags, front screen with green upper part, panorama roof, electric foldable and dimmed mirrors, dimmed interior mirror, cupholders, styling 123 18" wheels with Dunlop RFT's, HiFi Pro/LOGIC7, alarm class 3, heated seats rear and voice recognition.
Waiting for february delivery of 325i Touring and 130i

I really still don't understand why it worked out on my dutch car very recently.
(they even managed to change german commands to UK english)

Fred, I do hope you have a reason to laugh when you get your car back next saturday. Frankly speaking I am afraid your VR problems have not been fixed as all UK VR retrofits seem on hold.
Nevermind, enjoy the meeting next sunday and hopefully a solution is found soon

Well, I'm sitting in Tokyo airport waiting for my flight.. Called the dealer earlier and it seems my car is done!! VR retrofit and all..
So I get to ride my car again tomorrow, for the first time in 6 weeks..
