I was wondering. My big diappointment of today (picked up car) was no phone voice control with Media package (Sat Nav Pro, Bluetooth, 6 Cd changer). Dealer said it was not in spec. I thought it came with basic voice phone controls. I know extend voice is an extra. What is the answer please?!
Hobi, you say it comes with retro-fit Sat Nav Pro so surely it comes with factory install?

There was confusion within BMW I think, i that the 5 series brochures they produced originally had voice control included in Prof Nav (609) option.
They then added Extended Voice Control, made it a separate option then forced you to either have TV function and/or Prof Nav included in your order.
Basically, the current situation is that if you want extended voice control, you need to explicitly order this in addition to prof Nav.
I think that they shifted the phone voice controls to the extended voice control option (daft, because if you order the media package, then voice control of the phone should be there by default.
This is what is so bad about BMW, they keep shifting the goal posts! I don't have a 5 series brochure to hand for reference. Perhaps someone else can correct me if I am wrong.
