Voice control is a guy. But Nav system is female, she always tells me to go this and that direction, but I never follow. Just like real life...

My voice control lady speaks german, which is only naturual since i bought the car in Germany.
Does anybody know how to get the VC-lady to speak and understand english. Is it an option anywhere in the menus (I've only managed to change the nav-lady to english), or is it something that can be done when you flash a new CIP version?
Any suggestions

I have just begun using Voice Command on my 550i. It is very useful, although, it does not always understand what I am asking for. My grandson enjoys asking for "Perspective" and also gets a kick out of the erroneous results of some requests. If I can get it to understand me, it will significantly reduce the amount of iDrive knob actions required.

I retrofitted the voice control system (I thought it was included in the Pro Nav option
)
It's so amazing ! The system understands sooooo much voice commands ! Even the name of the radio stations ! And a lot of commands are faster than with i drive selection. I really enjoy it !
And you ?

For those who might have missed it, here's a link to an interesting thread about the voices in our cars:
