Haven't seen much on the forum about voice activation. I know that voice activation is available for the BMW phone. Having read through the 545i owner's manual it looks like there is a much more extensive voice activation system that is offered.

Is this part of the Navigation professional system? Does it come automatically or is it a separate item? Is there more to this than voice activation of the Navigation system?

Any info would be appreciated since I am about to place my order and the dealer doesn't have much info!!

 

I believe it comes as part of the Nav (pro) system (or for the US the only Nav system avilabile) starting production 3/04

 

Is the voice activation that comes with the Nav Pro only for the navigation or is it the comprehensive system for multiple components?

 

Voice lets you control everything, radio, climate, navigation, phone, ....
