As I drive my new 530 (sport. premium), after a highway trip, I have been noticing a few things - Does anyone else have these issues?

1. Car doesn't ride as smooth in the 2100ish RPM range. Seems shaky, but the steering wheel doesn't vibrate, so it doesn't seem like a wheel balancing problem. More or less, in RPMs, everything is perfect. Wife even noticed it as I set cruise at 2100 RPMs, then accelerated/decelerated to prove the point on new blacktop highway.

2. Transmission shifts rough, when really getting on it in kickdown mode. Vibrates and shimmys rough. Doesn't do it on every gear.

3. Steptronic doesn't shift instantly. Seems like it waits for the RPMs to go to almost redline even when I shift it.

4. Rattle from left driver door, not a squeak. You can hear it even when driving on smooth road and going over an ever so slight bump. You only hear it rattling going over small bumps.

5. Squeaky/creaky sound from instrument cluster area.

Love the car though - it gets more fun to drive every day.

Doesn't sound to good. I would get that in for service quickly.

Mine doesn't do any of 1, 2, 4 or 5 so agree you should have it looked at.

The only time I notice a delay in shifting in manual mode is between 1st and 2nd gear when starting from a dead stop. I compensate for this by shifting a bit earlier than I would normally and think the transmission has pretty good response time in every other situation.
