I don't know if people already know this but I just figured something out. I usually burn all my CD's at maximum speed when I am burning songs for my car. DON'T DO THIS.
I just tried burning a playlist on the slowest speed possible and the sound quality is UNBELIEVABLE!! The difference is remarkable. I barely get any white noise and the bass is soooo much deeper! So when you are burning CD's burn them on the lowest speed!

Hope this improves your driving/music experience!

I get all my songs from itunes. But when I burn the discs I never used the slow burn speed.

Humm I usually burn at around 8 to 12X for audio... I wonder if bumping it down to 2 or 4 would make a difference. I've had problems with 40X+ so thats why now I only use 8-12 but never noticed the difference in quality... I should try even slower speed and see...

If you burn it slow you will also get a better high. Oops, wrong thread.

I just broke my old disc so I made a CD with all of the same exact songs only at a slower speed and now the quality is hundreds times better.

I used the 1X speed. Very slow but worth it!
