Funny. I always thought it was FTM.
KC: It is a FTM. Simple verbage difference, he was quoting the BMW document, but a FTM is what it is.
Is this the delay from teh start issue? (Throttle response). I hope they've fixed that 
.

- TPM (Tire Pressure Monitor) false check control message in CID (Central Information Display). Vehicle produced from 3/04 to 12/04 only. Recode entire vehicle.

Well. I was planning on ED in the summer (ED is a real bitch in the winter I heard). And there's more to it than that (a LOT more to it than that).
Another reasin being that I'm waiting for the R6 engine
. Does that justify enough for ya? And beleive me, I'm NOT looking for an excuse to not buy this car

Why would you wait to order your car????? That makes no sense. They update software all the time. They will update it at VPC and you will update it many times during ownership. I know its a big purchase, just hold your nose and jump. you will not regret it. It looks like you are looking for excuses not to order.
