Radio auto-on

About 10 times since August when I took delivery, although my radio was off when I shut off the car, when I restart, it comes on.
This is an intermittent problem, like the "Sound off" thread. Has anybody else had this problem, what was the fix, and do you know the software version.

Same problems here...I have navigation (CCC).
I believe the problem is fixed with 13.x but with Nav, dealers in N. Cal. are not installing the update without first have the CCC on hand, and they are on national backorder.
BTW, the problem also occurs when I end a phone call with the BMW phone.

Same thing here -- I did not have the problem until the software was upgraded to fix a problem with the seat memory. Now everytime I turn on the car, the radio comes on (regardless if it was muted or off the last time I turned off the car).
Please post when a fix is available.

Just browsing the boards when I noticed this thread. Same thing happens for me. I just bought my 530i 4 weeks ago. I haven't checked the SW version yet, but this radio auto-on thing is definitely annoying.

I always keep my radio on I wish there was a way that when it comes on the sound was turned down, It always scares the crap out of me
