Just picked up my '05 545i (NAV equipped) after having v15.2 installed. Here is what I noticed:

1. No change whatsoever.
2. The radio still comes on at EVERY start-up, even if it was previously off.
3. It still takes about 20 seconds for the screen to boot up to the @$#%^$%^& lawyer's message. Therefore the Park-Distance screen is not very useful unless I wait.
4. Still no RDS.

I am being told that all this is still to be expected with NAV cars. Has anyone had different or better experience with v15? All comments welcome.

Thanks,
Art

Did they tell you when you can expect these problems to be fix?

Nope, they acknowledge only that BMW is aware and is working on all this stuff.

Don't assume you'll get RDS with your nav car -- I'll believe it when I see it...

Yeah, I'd wait. You guys with Nav are having a tougher time of it than us lowly non-Nav guys. All the issues listed by Art work just fine in my car: RDS, radio stays off if turned off, iDrive boots immediately plus the bonus of a greatly improved throttle lag. Don't what it is about that CCC computer they can't seem to get straight!

Probably right. My screen comes on much faster than before even when very cold and I have never seen any delay. I had them re-calibrate my fuel consumption today and they installed a new shielded AM antenna so I would have to say everything is pretty much working perfectly.

Cars equipped with NAV get the BMW logo at every star-up. This stays on the screen for about 20 seconds. My SA says this is normal.

Cars without NAV boot up instantly to the lawyer screen.
