valvetronic motor
it appears i have an oil leak coming from my valvetronic motor, i ordered the gasket and wanted to see if someone could be so kind and steer me in the right direction with the removal of it please, i have a 2006 525i

My Ride: '06 530i, '07 C280 4matic, '98 ML320
Disconnect and remove the coil packs that are on both sides of the valvetronic motor. Remove the 3 small bolts holding that motor (2 on sides and one on the bottom).
Then, look closely at the end of the motor, you will see hex shaped hole. Use appropriate size hex key and turn clock-wise until you feel resistance; then turn the key counter-clock-wise while pulling the motor out.
I have replaced that gasket on my car (N52 engine).

Here is the picture of hidden bolt. Bolt head is visible from the windshield side. You may need to use small mirror to be able to see.
