08 550 sport pack 60,000 miles maybe it been making this noise for a while, but going up a hill I had rpm's around 3500 and noticed valve ticking . took it to dealer and after S.A. and shop manager took it for a ride they said all is normal. It is not loud but there if you know what I mean.

 

You sure it is the valves? Injectors also normally make a ticking noise that is very often confused with valve train noise. Using a mechanic's stethoscope will help determine the source of the noise.
