i have pictures to prove it. can i do ne thing? i filled out a claim
The valet parkers just love to scratch the fine cars.

I pic before and after is good, but if it is a restaurant syndicate, you'll not have a change.

Please fill out the claim, but with much more better language than you use out there...

PS. Up here we use taxis when going out for a fine dinner or just some beers.

the valet will have a disclaimer on the back of the ticket they gave you. when you accept that ticket, you accept the terms of agreement. it will say that you are responsible for ensuring your vehicle is not damaged before leaving the parking lot.

you would be amazed how often people blame valets for damage. i valet parked for 2 years. me and a close friend always worked together. we would park 100 cars for a wedding, and we would get at least 10 erronious complaints about scratched cars, wheels, etc. we never did any of the damage. if that was the case, i damaged HUNDREDS of cars in 2 years time. not likely. i will watch a valet park my car. when i come out, if the car is not in the original spot, i WILL do a walk around... once you are gone... you are gone..

i did complan and talk to a manager. how much does it cost to refinish a rim?. how much should i be asking for? what is reasonable. damage is about an inch. again i have pictures to prove they hit the curb. red paint to match their red sidewalks.
they wont give you money. even if you got a dime, you dont get it from the valet company. you get it from their insurance company. they will assess how much you get. the process could take months and months.

Write a letter to the manager immediately confirming your conversation with the manager and his agreement to pay.

ok so now they are saying insurance will take care of it. im looking at the rim and the paint from the curb is now off my rim. the damage is nto noticeable unless u look really really close and feel the rim. its like the width of a hair and its black accross the edge of the rim. really hard to notice. should i even go through w/ this? do i have a shot? im just mad they they are backing out of their word. they actually denied it in total now

Keep fighting, if you had perfect rims when you went there and they are not perfect now they should do the honorable thing and take responsibility. Their screw up, not yours. Did you take pics of the original damage?
