No. No way. I will drop my wife off at the door and walk ten blocks before I'll valet. I know a guy who worked as a valet in college and I know too much. Period.

I never let valet my car ever in my life at least here in Canada.... when I go U.S. I do a lots but with rental cars in which I don't care. Believe me there is not any valet park in my city! (Calgary) even restaurantes, clubs, etc.... weird... really!

Very chivalrous. I pull right up to the door, get out, and say to my husband, "Hey, you wanna drive my car?!"

PS I vote no valet...especially if you drive a standard.

No. We never take a nice car anywhere that requires a valet. Take the Camry maybe the ML one of those rare days. We took our ML and BMW for inspection at some local joint, and the guy had no idea how to start the BMW, the Mercedes is simple.

Guy lost his mind trying to shift to D on the 528i .

I park my own car, take my own keys and tip the valet $20 each time. They make sure nobody ever touches or messes with my car while I'm at dinner. They love me. Every time I go back, they all know me and welcome me back with open arms.

I usually tip $10 and ask for them to park it upfront...usually dont get any grief as the e60 is a beautiful car, esp with the mtech kit. They normally treat the car well when they park it close...
