So I'm going to be taking off from Cali for my euro trip and I plan on being in Germany for about 4 days.. My question is if any of you guys know of any places where I can go for misc parts for my e60. Shops, junk yards, or even any cool spots to stop by(BMW related of course). Im already planning to go to the BMW museum, and was thinking of going to ACS HQ and Hamann Motorsports (R.I.P.), but it seems a bit far off course. Also, craigslist Germany only has one e60 posting  . Let me know if you guys have any advice. Any tips will be helpful. Thanks in advance!

Four days isn't very long. Plenty of museums in Munich. Don't get side tracked looking for parts. Enjoy yourself, drink plenty of that good German beer and enjoy!

No doubt I agree with Stolic1. Consider the crappy exchange rate and up-cost from the airlines and I am pretty sure it will set you back more than you anticpated...! Your only chance is to find something or someone that will fit into your suitcase, like cute little Frau... Enjoy the museums, food and Weissbier!

When are you coming out? I'm stationed in Germany, about an hour from Munich. Right now I'm on winter tires and waiting for my summers in the mail, but if you get in a little later from now I can hand off my 550i to do a bit of Autobahn playtime...

You should definetly try the autobahn. Its pure rehabilitation to feel like a free man again.

Otherwise I recommend seeing the Alps. 4 days is short. I would recommend Nurburgring which is an absolute must for car lovers but its a bit far away to there when you only have 4 days.

Ha, I'm in Munich 11-20 May (Munich, Dingolfing and Bad Greisbach) Maybe I might be interested in taking you up on that offer... lol!

Or we can swap it out for a private factory tour in Dingolfing or perhaps Regensburg. Let me know!
