Hey Guys !
Lots of us V8 guys have a common love, whether it's the sound of the engine gearing down from a high speed run or the low end torque off the line , the smooth power curve or the lovely little rumble at a stop light or................. ?? let's hear your reason(s) !
Cheers

All of the above, but mainly the close to perfect blend hp and torque. The engine noise on the 550 is excellent, but I sometimes wished it were a little louder on my 07.
Right now I'm a happy member of the Flat 6 Club, but the BMW V8 is indeed a great engine.

The noise eminating from the AMG 6.2 liter V8 is NASTY!
It puts the 4.8 liter to shame.

im disappointed in the aural pleasures from the 550 engine...its a great performer, but a bit more intake and exhaust note would be welcome
