I had the Prgoman V.25 installed today. Beside the inteface improvements and some new functionallity, I can confirm that now the old CD-not-stoping-after-mute is solved. If you stop/mute the CD, turn off the car, then come back and turn the car on again, the CD player is still stopped now with V25.

I?ve had this problem since I bought the car 3,5 years ago. Since I have reported this issue two years ago, I got my upgrade for free even though the car is out of warranty...

Sure I can just turn the car off and the CD turns off. And then when I start the car again the CD comes on again, at the same track where it was stoped.

Earlier there was a bug (in all versions of CIP I think) that caused the CD to continue for some 5 minutes after the car was turned of - even if you turned of the CD with the off/mute button before turning the engine off. Then when you started the car next time, the CD player had advanced somne 3-4 tracks and it was spinning and advancing with the sound off... That is now finaly fixed.

No - the CD will flip back to the same position even when you flick to a different source. When I move between the single slot CD in the dash and the CD changer it will go straight back to whichever was the last track. It also does the same from key to key - i.e. what ever source / cd track position you had last on your key it will revert back to that choice when you next enter the car (assuming of course the CD is still in the slot!!)

Unfortunately not (as in I can't confirm either way) - the LCI has the USB interface however over here BMW have not released the right interface cable as yet. I would have thought however that the same rules apply. The one thing I would say though is that it may be worth checking with the dealer first as I have an LCI car - the Software update may have a different result on the pre facelift cars
