I like to upgrade my software to 13.3 ... but how ?? do I have to create a fake problem to make the dealer upgrade the software or do I have to pay for that ?.. I don't know ... the dealer may not accpet this ... I am seeing every day someone come with new version .. how do they upgrade it .. do they all have problems with their current software .. what are the problem ??

The answer, my friend, is in the FAQ...

I presume that searching for "secret" is a waste of time, as otherwise you'd have put it in the FAQ.
Surely you can check the version info easily. BTW, you can in the Audi A6.

For my upgrade I called customer service with TMC not working with BUs-NAv. They did book me in but when I returned to pick my car up they gave me a print out from BMW website saying this was not possible. At this point I caught hold of the Tech guy (who was extremely helpful) and used his computer to log on to e60.net and showed him posts saying uprading to v13.3 activates TMC and this has been done in stockport only a few mils from liverpool. He claimed he was intrigued by this and although not fully convinced he organised an upgrade overnight. He then called me back confirming its success. He also claimed he was browsing e60.net that night and found it interesting. When I picked my car up I enquired about mp3 compatibilty, for which he replied when the software update comes out I (i.e. e60.net) would know about it before he does

Is it just me, or with v13.3, it seems like it takes just a little bit longer for the engine to turn over after I turn the key? It's a minor change, but it's definitely noticeable -- the engine doesn't start to crank until just a moment after I turn the key -- on v12, it was almost simultaneous. Anyone else notice this?

I also want to confirm other people's impressions that the steering feels heavier at lighter speeds now -- at first, I just noticed that it felt different, but I can now qualify it as being heavier.?
