Anyone using Valentine 1 detectors in E60 models is experiencing false warnings from the rear.
What can be causing this?

Which band and how frequent?
I had consistent false alarms on K and Ka bands and it turned out my V1 was malfunctioning. I sent it in and they repaired it at no cost.

Just bringing this bac and hope will be of a help for anyone.
Contacted V1 tech support and what was causing false alarms is the xm/satellite cable connected on the rear left trunk area, after disconnecting this cable no more false alarms. Now if you scan for errors it will show but you are now aware of disconnected cable.
