Hello

The "check button" (on the left hand side of the steering wheel on one of the stalks in the US) is a useful tool. If you get one of the annoying i-Drive messages such as the fuel warning, window trap warning, etc, you can press the check button to shut it up. Unfortunately the warning usually comes back but at least you can see the status line of the I-drive again for a few seconds - this is useful if you are trying to see which track on your cd is playing or RDS.

Not sure if this has been posted before but I thought I would share this minor tip.

It sure its helpful, but as you mentioned, the warning keeps coming back (Especially the "Fasten your seatbelt" warning), until you finally take care of it.
Thanks
