Yes, a leather conditioner seems to be the consensus.
The one I use is branded "Autoglym Leather Care Cream"
I got a bottle of the Autoglym Leather Care Cream and put it on the rubber on the doors, it works very good at 1st but after 2 day the mice came back.
Is it maybe that I need to put more layer on the rubber?
The rubber is 2 years old now.

Dont use WD40! The chemicals in it will literally melt any sort of ploymer and plastics that it comes in contact with.
I agree.

I am not trying to recommand WD40.
But it is very weird. My door seals have been very quiet for 7 days so far.
All the WD40 I put on are dried out on day 2 already. I'd like to leave it like it is and see how long will it stay qioet.

I don't know if by "rubber" you're referring to the actual rubber seals, but the Leather conditioner is supposed to go on the black lining that looks like a felt type material on the top of the doors

I was referring to the rubber seals. I put the Leather conditioner on all black rubber not just the top bit.
